…this is fairly high up on the list. In a supreme display of ineptitude, I lost the password that gave me access to this holy shrine of the unread. Today, while flippantly extolling my determination to give up on this whole blogging caper, I chanced upon the correct password. Several rounds of unsolicted high fives followed resulting in several people deciding they no longer wished to speak to me.
So now that I have wrestled access to my online domain back from the hands of internet security measures, I have to think about something to write. No easy task considering I have very little to say. I will make mention of the following though:
The Cuckoo Parchment and the Dyke – Michael Dhillon
I recently picked this book up after conversations with the emminently wonderful author. I’m only about a quarter of the way through so far but it’s quite a spellbinding read. So far the book is expertly weaving a fantasy that encompasses the history of Dada with the fictitious exploits of its protagonist. The ammount of care that has clearly been taken with the prose is a joy to read. I won’t say too much else about this until I’ve fully absorbed it. Thus far however, this is a book that deserves to be read.
Now to attempt to retain my password.
